Lillehammer Microbrewery is concerned about the food. Raw materials and taste are important part of our cultural heritage and identity. This understanding of values and philosophy is also applied to our beer production.
We want to strengthen the local production of food and drinks in the Lillehammer and Gudbrandsdalen region. This can be done by sharing the knowledge about the products’ history and their integration in our menus. We hope that this will lead to further development of local food and beverage production. But also, that old traditions can lead to the development of new and exciting local products. Our goal is to use fresh, local ingredients of high quality, whenever possible

A good dining experience is all about the taste, pleasure and quality. Lillehammer Microbrewery is inspired by “slow food philosophy”, which means providing simple pleasures of good food with good company. Slow food combines the joy of food with concern for animals, nature and people. We also like to combine slow food with good cultural experiences in the form of storytelling and concerts.
